All data comes from the SBA 7(a) FOIA dataset, filtered to loans where the borrower is marked as "Change of Ownership" (an acquisition, not a startup). Cancelled loans are excluded. Implied deal size assumes an 85% loan-to-purchase ratio typical for SBA change-of-ownership structures. Charge-off rate is computed only for NAICS codes with 20+ deals and 10+ resolved loans (paid-in-full or charged-off). Momentum compares the last 365 days to the prior 365 days. Rankings are across 112 NAICS categories mapped to BizBite businesses. Data updates quarterly.
